Work Experience
Kent has 8+ years of experience designing structures for buildings, non-building structural applications, and miscellaneous structural needs. He has designed structures for various markets including Education, Healthcare, Retail, Manufacturing, Aerospace and more. Materials he has design experience with include: steel, concrete, wood, masonry, and precast structures. His responsibilities have included structural gravity & lateral system design, member connection design, condition assessments, and construction administration services. Kent has proficiencies in design and drafting programs such as Revit, Risa-3D, RAM Structural Systems, RAM Connections, Enercalc. He has extensive background across various codes including: IBC, IEBC, ASCE-7, ACI 318, AISC 360, NDS, TMS 402 and more. He has enjoyed coordinating and collaborating with Architects, MEP Engineers, and Contractors to deliver quality, integrated, and cost-effective projects.

Kent and his wife have four kids, and a golden doodle, that keep their evenings and weekends mostly packed. He enjoys coaching his kids’ sports teams, playing video games and board games with them. He closely follows multiple sports teams including K-State, Kansas City Chiefs, LA Lakers and other niche leagues like professional Disc Golf.
